Self-Myofascial release
Working out tends to leave your nervous system in a heightened state of arousal. If your muscles and their associated connective tissues are not given adequate time to rest, they are more vulnerable to tears, other injuries and loss of force production. My aim is to guide you to connect to your true self in a more physical, emotional, and spiritual way through a safe bodywork practice. These prehab/rehab self-myofascial release workshops will be held at the end of every month at Alive by Raintree Athletic Club. the odd months (March, May, July etc.) will be a simple and NEW Full Body Massage with a NEW therapy ball
these balls squish and will lose their firmness, this allows for a collection of various pressure therapy balls for your self-care collection
On the even months (April, June, Aug etc.) will be a VERY in-depth neuromuscular self-care training on either upper or lower body
During these small group neuromuscular self-care trainings, you will learn specific prehab/rehab neuromuscular exercises and mobility techniques using various kinds of tools. There will be some recognizable material between sessions, but there will be a different focus each time:
various sized therapy balls and Gua Sha scraping
